The UX Islands

A young pirate designer sees their sleep disturbed by a mission to do user research for a new game project. Traveling around the UX islands to rally experts and interview users, our hero will also meet the terrifying monsters of project management.

A short adventure of design, users and monsters

This game takes 10-15 minutes to complete. It was created as a final project for the course "Introduction to UX evaluation" led by Vincent Koenig and Carine Lallemand at the University of Luxembourg.

Credits:
- Made in a couple of days by Mangatome
- Extensive use of RPG Maker VX Ace stock assets
- Library and school maps based on standard map samples
- Ship map and tilesets based on design by zharth (http://zharthrpg.blogspot.com/2014/03/building-ship-map.html)

What a great idea for a game! It was very fun to play with lovable characters :D

I don't know if you've heard of Game Development World Championship before (gdwc2019) but it's a competition for indie game developers where they can submit their games and it's free! It's great if you want some more visibility for the game and it only takes a couple of minutes to join :)
